Out of concern for the common good, we strive to preserve the natural environment while enjoying good coffee with us. We do not throw away the coffee grounds that are produced as a by-product during the preparation of coffee. Instead, we collect them and process them into high-quality fertilizer. This fertilizer is rich in organic matter and is excellent for growing plants. With this approach, we want to contribute to the reduction of waste and promote a circular economy.
Our concern for the environment is one of our core values, which is why we went one step further. The only sustainable way forward is to stop the classic handling of raw materials that end up in waste at the end of their life. Therefore, with the new project, we want to draw attention to the importance of forests in the circular economy. We chose the red pine (Pinus resinosa) for the project, which symbolizes immortality, the circle of life and nature. Its growth also increases biodiversity in forests, as it provides shelter and food for many animal species. However, it needs good soil to grow. This is where our fertilizer comes in, once waste now becomes raw material for a new cycle.
Plant a pine tree and take small steps for a better future with us. By striving for the sustainable use of natural resources and promoting a circular economy, let’s contribute to the preservation of biodiversity together.
